If you’re the type of person that always expects the worst, chances are that’s what you get. Good things come to positive people, who ALLOW positive things to manifest.
The laws of attraction are powerful tools that can be used to attract what you want in life. However, it’s important to understand how the laws of attraction work in order to use them effectively.
This article will teach you how to use the laws of attraction to attract what you want in life.
The Three Laws of Attraction
1. Like Attracts Like
The Buddha said, “All that we are is a result of what we have thought.” What your mind fixates on is what frames your experience. That leads us to our first law of attraction like attracts like.
Your mindset is what makes the difference, not what’s going on around you.
Have you ever been happily enjoying an activity only to turn to the person next to you and discover they’re unhappy over some small detail of the very same situation that you’re both in?
Let’s say you’re out on a nature walk with a friend. The weather is perfect. The trail is nicely shaded from the sun. You’ve finally got some free time from work and any other commitments.
But all your friend can do is complain about the bugs. That’s a telling moment. It shows us that people see what they want to see.
You can maintain a happy outlook and let life unfold in front of you resulting in more wonderful things happening. Or you can remain in a negative mindset and see only the bugs instead of all nature’s beauty.
2. Nature Abhors a Vacuum
In 2006, the book The Secret was published and popularized the idea of the Law of Attraction. The belief that like attracts like and that by focusing on positive thoughts, one can bring about positive results. The second law of attraction explains that empty spaces do not remain unfilled.
Few people know about the Second Law of Attraction. This law is just as powerful as the better-known First Law, but it works in the opposite way. Instead of attracting things to you, the Second Law explains why good things can be repelled from you too if you don’t declutter the negativity from your life.
While the First Law explains that you can attract whatever you want by focusing and putting your intention out there, the Second Law of Attraction is equally powerful. It highlights that it is impossible to have a completely empty mind or existence. And if your mind is filled with negative thoughts or experiences there is no room for good ones. So we should purposely use the room available in our minds and intentions for good things.
3. Perfect the Present
The third law of attraction is the present is perfect. To think of it in more actionable terms, turn the phrasing around to perfect the present. This means, don’t dwell on the negative things happening in the present. Instead, do what you can to improve anything negative and stay focused on the good and positive.
